Art & Sculpture in Clackmannanshire
Art & Sculpture
Clackmannanshire is indelibly linked with the distinctive public art of Andy Scott, an alumni of Glasgow School of Art and creator of the Kelpies near Falkirk.
The installation of the 6 of his sculptures in such close proximity is an unprecedented concentration of his work. They reflect what has shaped Clackmannanshire; the river, the woods, the Ochil Hills, its industrial past and vibrant future.

Other international artists and works are Michael Visocchi’s ‘The Pontils’ celebrating Clackmannanshire’s glass heritage and Rob Mulholland’s ‘Sentinels’ which can be found reflecting in Alloa Town Centre.
Artists & Makers - Clackmannanshire has a long and rich heritage of artists and makers, particularly in the mediums of textiles, pottery and glass. This tradition continues today – not only can you admire and purchase the work of local artists at one of the many gallery events held throughout the year, but there are opportunities to extend your skills through regular classes.
